4.2P 4″/2 Way Monitor Speaker
4.2P uses the same series of monomers as the current SP-600, and its 22mm tweeter voice coil achieves the best compromise between on-axis and off-axis frequency response, resonance frequency and power handling. Coupled with lightweight and high-stability ferrofluid and precision-coated fabric diaphragm, it can improve power control and treble extension. Optimized diaphragm dome shape and vented voice coil former for natural UHF cutoff to reduce distortion and compression. Copper-clad aluminum voice coil wire provides lower moving mass for improved efficiency and transient response.
Special cavities are built under the dome/rim to equalize the pressure to reduce distortion and resonant frequency.
And the flexible wires allow for higher power handling and greater excursions.
The Alu magnetic field stabilization ring inside the magnet of the woofer can reduce the distortion of the diaphragm at large amplitudes.
Copper-clad aluminum wire wound voice coil for higher efficiency and better dynamic performance. Heavy-duty black fiberglass voice coil bobbins for improved power handling and reduced mechanical losses for better dynamic performance and low-level detail. 32mm diameter voice coil and 85mm magnet for better control and efficiency. A ferrite external magnetic circuit allows for better heat transfer, resulting in increased power handling. Long linear travel vibration system to reduce distortion at high sound pressure.
In terms of structure, the new progressive basin frame with built-in specially designed CONEX cross-axis shock absorber can achieve durability under extreme working conditions.
The first batch of 4.2P will use MDF to cover the appearance of imitation rosewood veneer and add a rear inverter tube. Just like its brother SP-600, 4.2P is very suitable for listening in a larger space, and does not need to be placed on the wall. Its symmetrical phase reversal allows the full frequency band to scatter in the environment naturally and clearly, taking into account Hi-Fi occasions and music production.
At the same time, the flagship version of Black Gloss Lacquer can only be produced by special requested.
